Frequently Asked Questions

  • I work with individuals ranging from 8 to 80 years old.

  • Each session lasts 50 minutes.

  • After the 15-minute introductory conversation, I recommend starting with three sessions. It’s important to give the therapeutic relationship time to develop and for both of us to understand your goals and needs more clearly.

The duration and structure of your therapy journey will depend on a variety of factors, including the severity of your concerns, the specific goals you set, your level of engagement in the process, and your mental health history. Together, you and your therapist will create a customized plan that aligns with your unique needs. This plan is dynamic and can be adjusted as you make progress. Depending on your situation, therapy could involve ongoing weekly or bi-weekly sessions over a longer period. It’s important to keep in mind that you play a key role in shaping your treatment plan, and your feedback is essential in guiding the direction of your therapy.

  • Unfortunately, sessions are not covered by OHIP. However, many insurance companies provide coverage.

  • Counselling services are primarily offered online for your convenience. However, if you prefer in-person sessions, we can explore this option during our 15-minute consultation.
